Memorial Josip Gašparac

The World Athletics awarded the traditional indoor athletics meeting "Memorial Josip Gašparac" the prestigious title of World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze, which places this competition among the world's largest athletics meetings. ‍

With the title won, the athletics competition will gather in Osijek about 20 of the world's best pole vaulters. The results achieved at this competition in Osijek will be used to achieve additional points for going to the Olympic Games and the World and European athletics championships. ‍

The live streaming of the competition has been officially confirmed by the European Athletics with an English commentator, who will be able to follow all members of the World and European Athletics. The arrival was also announced by the leaders of the national athletics federations as well as the managers of top athletes.

Over two days on February 20th and 21st 2024. Osijek will become the center of World and European athletics in the NŠD Gradski vrt - athletics tunnel in Osijek, and will attract a large number of visitors and spectators in addition to top athletes.
